Chateau de Contay's experience is focused on providing guests with an opportunity to slow down, relax and escape the modern world through a unique old fashioned lifestyle.

Le Château

Chateau de Contay is comprised of a large reception area including a sitting room, a music room, a drawing room and a dining room as well as a south facing terrasse, all accessible to guests depending on the time of the day. All guest bedrooms are located in the Chateau, with seven of then being located on the first floor and one of them being on the ground floor and suitable for people with limited mobility.

Le Studio

Le Studio (70sqm) is located in the Orangery and is a great place to focus on fitness with beautiful views over the Pigeon House and the Chateau. Le Studio could also be rented for private family and corporate events.

The Farm

The historical farm of Chateau de Contay still remains on the grounds, and provides a great testimony of the day-to-day organisation in such places 250 years ago. Fresh eggs can be eaten at breakfast from the farm.

Breakfast

Breakfast is served every morning from 8.00am to 10.00am, either buffet or à la carte depending on your booking, but always made of local products.

Wellness

A small athletics studio is available on-site with a spin bike, rowing machine, and freeweights. Yoga equipment is available upon request. Yoga and gym sessions can also be booked in advance.

Concierge

We will help you build your stay so that it remains a unique experience. As a guesthouse, we only have an on-site service from 8.00 to 12.00 and from 16.00 to 20.00, but we remain available the rest of the time for any requests.

Parking

Secure parking is available on the property for you and your guests. Electric cars can be charged for an additional EUR 10 per night.

Internet Access & TV

A wifi network and two 4G dongles are available to stay connected, or work from the chateau. However, there are no TV in the room to disconnect and enjoy life in the old-fashioned way.

Pets

Pets are unfortunately not allowed in Château de Contay due to listed historical features and many wild animals occupying the grounds.
